CRANE Uganda
CRANE’s local affiliate (implementing arm) is located in the capital of Uganda ― Kampala. The office was established to enhance the quality of life of vulnerable communities by providing them with interventions that alleviate poverty and address climate change, promote access to quality education, health, and improve livelihoods of the local communities.
We work to mobilize, sensitize and train youth, women and local communites through social eonomic awareness to fight against ignorance, diseases and poverty. We network with like-minded organizations regionally and internationally to achieve our goals.
CRANE’s Focus Areas in Uganda:
capacity building of grassroots organizations;
support of underprivileged women, children and youth orphans;
educational partnerships between Uganda and the world;
supply of tools, technologies and funding for local microenterprises;
violence prevention and response;
promoting of environmental restoration and climate change;
support of public health and child protection systems;
promoting food security and income generation.
