Moses Zulu

Moses Zulu serves as Chief Executive Officer for Luapula Foundation, a local NGO in Zambia. From 2009 to 2011, he served as a part-time lecturer with University of Zambia in the department of Adult Education and Extension Studies. Before joining Luapula Foundation, he worked in Ministry of Health as an Environmental Health Technologist and presided over community structures that drive grassroots development. In 2003, Moses joined Care International Zambia as a District Interventions Assistant. He was the Technical Advisor for 12 districts in a project to build the capacity of Neighborhood Health Committees (NHCs).

In 2004, he joined Health Communication Partnership Zambia as a Provincial Team Leader to provide technical support in a ‘Social Change’ project. In June 2006, Mr. Zulu joined Luapula Foundation as Program Director to spearhead management of a big USAID funded project. In 2009, he became Chief of Party for Luapula Foundation, a prime recipient of USAID/USG funds. Mr. Zulu provided leadership for USG funded projects and successfully completed all the procedures of USG funds. Moses holds a PhD in Sociology, and Masters’ Degree in Public Health from the University of Western Cape. He is one of the founding members of Luapula Foundation.
